Beth’s Bakery Buns sources high-quality ingredients to create our hand-artisan pastry. We take pride in our attention to detail and strive to exceed our customers' expectations with every order.
Our family immigrated from Scandinavia in the early 1900s. Many of our recipes are passed down through generations from our Scandinavian grandmothers. We continue to practice their traditional ways of Swedish pastries while adding an original modern twist.
Beth's Bakery Buns freshly stone grinds organic wheat berries for each menu item. Upholding this practice allows us to offer traditional bread and pastry containing 100% of the nutrients found in the wheat plant.

Beth's Bakery Buns is located in East Hill as a cottage bakery. Please email us to order and pick up at the cottage bakery Tuesday-Saturday. On Wednesday at the Cross st. Bakery Box we offer Nordic breads and Lefse for pick up! Wednesday we are open 2pm - 6pm. Please find us at the Palafox Market in Downtown Pensacola every Saturday.
Our bakery hand-crafts every menu item in our cottage home. The majority of our items are sourdough-based using a culture that's been cultivated for over 5 years. Sourdough has been a staple of many cultures around the globe for over 1,000 years. The fermentation of sour culture is full of microbes from yeast and bacteria which aid in optimal biological function. More specifically, the relationship between yeast and bacteria within the culture helps break down a molecule called the phytate complex. Speeding the breakdown of the phytate complex within grain allows the human body to absorb all essential minerals in the wheat plant.
Baking with freshly ground grain ensures the highest concentration of nutrients. This is due to the cultivation of the wheat kernel. Once the wheat kernel is ground the nutrients within the kernel start to dissipate within 24 hours. Nutrients found in wheat have been staples for diets throughout history in many cultures.
